In my role as a Senior Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Engineer, I specialize in the administration, development, and optimization of IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) systems within Unix-based environments. My expertise includes creating and configuring new item types, ensuring seamless web-based administration through IBM Content Navigator, and adhering to strict CI/CD and change management standards. I have a deep understanding of storage systems, which enables me to design and deploy high-performance, scalable architectures while ensuring system reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

I conduct thorough system analysis, define requirements, and document processes to drive successful project execution. With proficiency spanning Linux, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), enterprise storage technologies, and relational databases like IBM DB2, I design and implement robust ECM solutions that enhance security, scalability, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, I am responsible for managing production requests, troubleshooting critical issues, and coordinating with IBM to resolve challenges within SLAs, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

Achievements:

• Led the migration of IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) to Hyland Nuxeo, driving modernization and improved system efficiency.
• Architected and deployed scalable ECM solutions for financial institutions, including a RedHat-based infrastructure with Oracle backend, IBM WebSphere, and Dell EMC’s S3 storage for a major Japanese bank.
• Upgraded a Windows-based ECM system for a Colorado bank, modernizing infrastructure in AWS, enhancing database performance, and integrating LDAP/SSO for security improvements.
• Migrated over 200 legacy mainframe reports from Mobius to IBM CMOD for a major publishing company, streamlining document retrieval and management.
• Provided expert-level support for CMOD, DB2, TSM, and enterprise storage systems, optimizing system configurations and performance for high-availability environments.
• Led development and deployment efforts across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Production), ensuring high-quality deliverables through code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD best practices.

Supported Enterprise Content Management systems in a Red Hat / DB2 environment, while also supporting cross-functional teams on migrations, upgrades, and process improvements. I focused on scalability, system monitoring, and performance optimization, ensuring seamless operation of mission-critical systems.

• Served as the subject matter expert for two systems across different lines of business, ensuring 24/7 uptime, system resiliency, and adequate performance for customer-facing applications.
• Successfully implemented a solution to efficiently load PDF files into IBM Content Manager OnDemand, reducing storage costs and enhancing system performance.
• Implemented a proof of concept for running IBM CMOD in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment, demonstrating the advantages of cloud technology over on-premises solutions
